Synergistic assembly of gold and copper-iron oxide nanocatalysts to promote the simultaneous depletion of glucose and glutathione

Glucose and glutathione (GSH) are key biomolecules for the regulation growth of tumor cells. The use inorganic nanocatalysts in biomedicine to target deplete such specific molecules represents a novel promising strategy against cancer. In this work, we present ternary assembled nanohybrid based on Au CuFe2O4 with capability simultaneously glucose GSH generate reactive oxidative species (ROS) cascade process. We describe an example synergistic heterogeneous nanoarchitecture able maintain oxidase-like activity while preventing its deactivation presence GSH. sites remain active due rapid response Cu–Fe co-catalyst levels. This hybrid heterostructure appealing alternative dual-activity within microenvironment (TME) potential anticancer therapy.
